Garage Center for Contemporary Culture Temporary Pavilion

This is a temporary pavilion project for the art gallery, “Garage Center” in Gorky Park, Moscow. As with other temporary structures, this pavilion requires low-cost and quick construction. The locally produced paper tubes create the oval wall which is 6 meters high with a total area of 2,400 square meters. This pavilion was opened to public on October 20th, 2012 as a contemporary art museum.

モスクワのゴーリキイ公園に位置するアートギャラリー、“Garage Center”のための仮設建築プロジェクト。今までの他の仮設建築と同様、ローコストで短期の建設が求められる。地元で生産可能な紙管を用い、高さ6メートル、2400平方メートルの楕円形の空間を生み出す。このパビリオンは、2012年10月20日から、コンテンポラリーアートギャラリーとして一般公開されている。
