New Marine Architecture for Minimal Effect to the Environment

The Thematic Pavilion is modeled after the region’s characteristic oceanscape of the Sinan Dadohae Archipelago. The form represents the harmony and synergy with this region’s rich and diverse marine culture. Perching on the edge of the Expo Loop, the Pavilion touches down lightly on the breakwater with only one leg in the water signifying the respect for the ocean ecosystem.


環境への影響を最小限に抑える新しい海洋建築

テーマ館は、この地域の特徴であるシナン・ダドヘ群島の海洋景観をモデルにしている。 そのフォルムは、この地域の豊かで多様な海洋文化との調和と相乗効果を表している。 エキスポ・ループの端に位置するパビリオンは、防波堤に軽やかに着水し、片足だけを海中に浮かせることで、海洋生態系への敬意を表している。
