This proposal seeks to find a solution to the many concerns surrounding the pilgrimage to Kaa’ba. This proposal imagines Al-Haram in a state where the layers of hierarchy crested by the Grand Mosque are taken away to create a uniform condition where all pilgrims and visitors can come together to pray in the presence of the Kaa’ba. For example, visual connection to the Kaa’ba, multi-functional poles that can be lighting, electronic information bulletin, zamzam water dispenser and cooling equipment and flexible enviromental control via operable roof shading.
このプロジェクトでは、ヒエラルキーをなくし、すべての巡礼者や観光客がカアバ（メッカの中心部にある建造物で最高の聖地とされている聖殿）で一緒に祈りができる仕組みやカアバの巡礼にまつわる問題などのソリューションを提供している。例えば、カアバへのビジュアル接続、照明、インフォメーション・スピーカー、ザムザムや冷却装置として機能する多機能ポール、そして日陰を利用したエコ・コントロールができる屋根など。 |
