By building this paper tube arch structure, the architecture students of the Ban Laboratory at Keio University not only created their own studio for design, study, and presentation, but by sequentially being designer, craftsman, and user, they also gained broad practical knowledge.

慶應義塾大学坂茂研究室の学生によって紙管を構造体とした仮設のデザインスタジオが建てられた。このスタジオでは坂 茂研究室が実施している様々なプロジェクトの準備や討論、発表等が繰り広げられている。実際に自分たちでつくることによって、デザイナーの視点だけでなく、制作者や利用者の視点に立ったデザインや設計を行える人材を育てている。
